Sometimes I look in the mirror
and say to myself:
“Whatever happened to you?
You used to be such a nice guy.”
Then, about a decade of memories slam into me
like a movie flashback montage,
and my reflection answers,
“Oh yeah. That’s why.”
and say to myself:

One day, I was digging through some of my old notes, I stumbled across this untitled poem. Admittedly, written during what was probably one of the darkest chapters of my life, a time I prefer not to dwell on, but every once in a while, you just have one of those days, you know?
lol, only took ten years, but I finally came up with a title for this thing.
